Each Direxion Shares Daily 3x ETF seeks a daily leveraged investment result. The pursuit of daily leveraged investment goals means that the return of a Fund for a period longer than a full trading day will be the product of the series of daily leveraged returns for each trading day during the relevant period. As a consequence, especially in periods of market volatility, the path of the benchmark during the longer period may be at least as important to the Fund's return for the longer period as the cumulative return of the benchmark for the relevant longer period. The Daily/Cumulative Performance Illustrator helps investors analyze fund returns for particular holding periods.

Here's What You'll See: The line graph displays the cumulative performance of the selected fund(s) and 300% (and/or -300%) of the target index for the selected date range. The area below the line graph provides returns for the selected fund(s) and 300%, and/or -300% of the target index (a) for the featured day and (b) cumulatively from the start of the selected period through that featured day. The featured day will be highlighted yellow in the line graph and labeled in the gray bar above the data. Clicking on either "Previous Day" or "Next Day" or clicking on the respective space for a day in the line graph plot area changes the data and bar graph illustrations accordingly. To see the cumulative returns for the entire date range, select the last day of the period. |
